SHOULD THE STUDENTS OR THE HIGH SCHOOL SELECT
High school education is very important for students because high school is a bridge for students to win university and give shape their future.Hence,if students take their education in some qualified way,their future career and life will be affected by this education dramatically.Therefore whether students should select their courses or not is a debatable topic among educationalists.While some educators think that students should select their courses by their own,some think the opposite.I think students should select the course that they want for their future.
First,when courses are elected by students they feel interest about them.In addition, they are more concentrated in their courses.However students feel uncomfortable and reluctance about courses which are chosen by school.I remember once when I was in high school, I used to go to chemistry lesson unwillingly because I never felt interest about chemistry.As a result many times I tried to avoid from it and failed that kind of course.
Second selecting courses helps students to bring good result and achievement in life.For example if students elect a course by their own,they have an aim about it and they try to do best to bring a good result which will make them successful.I remember once when we were preparing for university exam we all students in language department selected mathematic rather than boring and useless lessons.We aimed to improve ourselves and reached our goal.
It is true that education system has some rules and students and educators should obey these rules.Some educators may argue that students can have benefit ,if they take all lessons which chosen by schools.However with selected courses, students feel boring or pressure on them.Instead students can feel relaxed while they are studying the courses which they select by their own.These kinds of courses never give pressure to student’s minds since they enjoy in the courses.
In conclusion,sometimes schools can misguide and choose false courses thus many times it is helpful to students to select course themselves in respect of their wishes,interests and needs.It makes them happy and helps them to be successful in life.
